I’m not going to spend a lot of time rehashing the race the… I didn’t follow it that closely so I’ll defer to Ed Morrissey on what went wrong and what it all means.

The quick and dirty version is this… As of 2:00 p.m. this afternoon just 25 votes, out of more than 154,000 cast, separated Republican James Tedisco and Democrat Scott Murphy in the special election for a New York’s 20th congressional district. There are about 6,000 absentee ballots, not including those mailed from overseas which have until April 13th to arrive, still to be counted so it’s going to be mid-month at the earlist before we know the final outcome.
