{"id":132,"date":"2012-01-10T10:29:51","date_gmt":"2012-01-10T15:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jasetaro.com\/gallery\/?p=132"},"modified":"2016-05-29T13:16:35","modified_gmt":"2016-05-29T17:16:35","slug":"wings-of-freedom-2008","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jasetaro.com\/gallery\/wings-of-freedom-2008\/","title":{"rendered":"Wings of Freedom 2008"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Collings Foundation&#8217;s annual Wings of Freedom tour is a living history display that brings the backbone of American air power in Europe during World War II &#8212; the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24 Liberator, and North American P-51 Mustang to dozens of cities each year.<\/p>\n<p>I used to make the trip up to \u00a0Waterbury-Oxford Airport with my Father, he was a Word War II veteran and loved seeing the aircraft he saw fly overhead &#8220;by the hundreds&#8221; while he was in England up close.
