Personally, I would have preferred Michael Steele or Fred Thompson… That said Palin’s a great choice, grass roots conservatives are energized\/excited by it, inside the beltway “conservatives” who are confounded by it, the media weenies who were pushing Lieberman are apoplectic over it and demorcrats are whining. All in all I don’t think McCain could have made a better choice, Palin has solid conservative credentials, she’s intelligent, articulate and attractive.
