I really should write something… Unfortunately, most of what\u2019s in the news at the moment bores me to tears. I couldn\u2019t care less about the Olympics and I\u2019m sick of the presidential campaign… Cassandra at Villainous Company pretty much sums up my mood here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I am deeply concerned about Russia\u2019s assault on Georgia… I’m not expert on the region however and I\u2019m not going to try and play one on the internet, I’ll leave to commentary and analysis on Georgia to C. Blake Powers (Laughing Wolf) at Blackfive<\/a> and Michael J. Totten<\/a>. If you haven’t read what they’ve written on the Georgian crisis you should.<\/p>\n
