Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair announced today that Ambassador Charles W. Freeman Jr. has requested that his selection to be Chairman of the National Intelligence Council not proceed. Director Blair accepted Ambassador Freeman\u2019s decision with regret.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I’d say something snarky like another one bites the dust but I don’t see anything remotely funny about the apparent incompetence of the Obama Administration.<\/p>\n
