Thousands Attend Tea Parties Around Connecticut and the Nation
Unfortunately work and family commitments kept from attending one of the Connecticut Tax Day Tea Parties yesterday… From what I’ve read they were hugely successful not just in Connecticut but nation wide.
A couple things… First this video or one like it has been making the rounds on blogs, I’m not going to comment on the conduct of CNN’s Susan Roesgen it speaks for itself:
I do however have something to say to the guy calling Barack Obama a fascist…. With all do respect sir leave the fascist rhetoric at home. That type of rhetoric is as misplaced now as it was when liberal activists used it against George W. Bush, it has no place in legitimate political discourse.
Second with that out of the way lets keep the momentum going, first take a moment to write a short note to your state and federal legislators to let them know you attended or are part of the Tea Party movement, second let House Speaker Nancy Pelosi know what you think about her idiotic remarks about the Tea Party Movement. I know this goes without saying but be polite. Finally join us on Saturday, April 25, 2009 for the Woodbury Tea Party. The rally starts at 11:00 a.m. and runs through 1:00 p.m. in Kennedy Park (Corner of RT 6 and Rt. 64) in Woodbury, CT
You can send your comments to Speaker Pelosi at:
Office of the Speaker

Washington, DC 20515
Phone: (202) 225-0100
Email: Amer...@mail.house.gov
(Thanks Pam)
