Carrie Prejean Keeps Her Crown

I haven’t felt the need to comment on whole Carrie Prejean “controversy” for various reasons… The whole affair has been has media fueled Charlie Fox Trot. Ms. Prejean has been demonized for expressing the same opinion on Gay Marriage that Pres. Barack Obama has expressed.

The fact that it has taken two weeks for someone to make that very point is indictment of our news media not Ms. Prejean.

Donald Trump, in my opinion made the right decision in this case… Period.

Now about those so called topless photos that surfaced today…

As a photographer I believe Ms. Prejean’s explanation… models are asked to pose for a wide variety of pictures, everything fully clothed to swimwear or lingerie. Many of those can be, for lack of a better word, racy.

The photos released today of Ms. Prejean in a black bikini bottom and an unbuttoned gray sweater vest are in my opinion exactly what Ms. Prejean says they are. The most revealing photos appear to me to be the type of inadvertent “peek-a-boo” shots that often happen during photo shoots involving skimpy clothing. Ms. Prejean does appear to be trying to modestly conceal her “naughty bits” and not intentionally show the world what God gave her.

In my experience shots like that are normally filed with all the other shots taken during that photo session and forgotten about. I for one agree with Ms. Prejean the behavior of the photographer who released those shots was reprehensible and unprofessional.

While he (or she) is most likely within his (or her) legal rights, releasing those photos was in my opinion unethical.
